My ENGLISH PROGRESS from 2013-2016

Final reflection 

These past four years at High School have been far more than just school to me. I learned about myself, my classmate that some became my best friends. These years were so many learning experiences for me throughout High School, some were negative and other positive, the truth there been all, It was unforgettable moments.

Respect of my English progress, comparing my written in fourth of ESO and my last composition on my blog I see many differences. Firstly, regarding grammar on my writing of ESO still I didn’t dominated the pronouns “his” “her” “them” and “their”, always it confused me. Also the present simple that in the third person singular “he” “she” and “It” we added an “s” at the end of the verb. But now, I have these things clear maybe sometimes not but that just depends on my attention and concentration. Secondly, concerning vocabulary on my last composition It can see the fluidity of language is not in the broad sense but I have progressed compared to my first writing. I have learned a lot of new words or rather a technical words as “punishment” “nip-tuck” “prenups” “jokes” and other. Finally, now my writings not all but majority have a good content and structure (with introduction, body and closing), I can see a personal development.

About my oral presentation I still have difficulties, I become nervous at all. The nerves not let me look at audience and this why I read most of time from my notes. Now, I pronounce pretty well. But I should improve still more as capture my listener’s attention, use more clear examples to illustrate my points or key findings and introduce more new words.

In conclusion, the writings that I have done this year It have helped me build a rhythm that I can use the rest of my life and some of my research. The growth I have done in the class has made me confident in my writing and it’s allowing me to get more comfortable with it. Above all in my blogger, It has given me courage to write creatively, show my personality, and express my ideas clearly. The blog at first too lazy to do it because it takes a lot of work but overall with It you have more practice and learning.  It is a useful tool learning to improve your level in English.

I am writing to complain about the marriage of my sister that we had in your wedding hall. We were there on 18th August and had invited 110 people.

The trouble began in the early arrival of the guests, approximately 9 o'clock pm. We had given instructions to your employees that at nine all had to be prepared, They were still preparing the tables at 9:30. We do not know the problems of their delays but this has made us understimate your services.

Firstly, I would like to point that is unacceptable for guests to wait for one hour to seat even though we had paid to be so comfortable with the guests not inside out. Secondly, many of the guests have left badmouthing wedding and this was not what we wanted.

To sum up, I hope that you will look into this weakness of your company. Moreover, I not recommend your services to anyone before that.

A am writing to you regarding the apalling situation currently occurring in Syria.

According your information that I read in a news, more than 250,000 syrians have lost their lives in four and a half years of armed conflict, which began with anti-government protests before escalating into a full-scale civil war. By June 2013, 90,000 people had been killed in the conflict ( most of them are innocent children).

All this is happening and no one is facing the government of President Bashar A-Assad the only thing that you do is some reunion to talk  about this conflict and nothing else. According to the article three of Human Rights, everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person so syrian people also have this right.

I would appreciate It if you take into account what I are writting and will intervene to end this because the right of life applies to all humanity.

Japan to pay Fukushima worker cancer compensation

Japan's government has acknowledged that a worker involved in clean-up work at the Fukushima nuclear plant may have developed cancer as a result. 

Officials say that  the man will be entitled to compensation for work-related illness, in the first cancer case linked to the Fukushima plant meltdown

The man worked at the damaged plant for more than a year, and was exposed to a total of 19.8 millisieverts of radiation during that period. Three other workers are waiting to have their cancer cases assessed, but more than 45.000 people have worked there.

There’s an anti-nuclear mood in Japan nowadays due to the Fukushima accident, but despite opposition, the Prime Minister wants to restart the nuclear plants.

In conclusion, cancer is a really important and worrying item to talk nowadays. Ministers are only care about their interests rather than worrying about the human health and welfare. But why they should worry about us if we are to them as his subjects.

Dubai's elusive fog phenomenon

Skyscrapers of Dubai have become icons of a futuristic city. A few times a year, if you are in the right place at the right time, you can see the beautiful city become a futuristic city in the clouds because of the dense fog of the season. 

Seeing and capture the fog is so complicated. The rarely shown this fog is so thick you can not see the ground in front of you. It can appear in summer and winter, at any time of night air meets hot days and humid.

Dubai always has been one of my favorite cities, It's truly amazing. The architecture is just out-of-this-world. It looks like something from a science fiction. These landscapes don't  have any cost  in life, It would be my dream to go there.

Syria conflict: Aleppo ceasefire extended by three days

A truce in the Syrian city of Aleppo has been extended for three days.  The Syrian army announced a two-day truce on Wednesday, after two weeks of clashes left nearly 300 civilians dead.

The truce is part of international efforts to build on a wide-ranging ceasefire introduced in February. Russia has been supporting its allies in the Syrian government with air strikes since September 2015.

Reports indicate that the short truce brought respite to Aleppo residents. Aleppo, in north-west Syria, was the country's industrial and financial centre before the five-year civil war started.

Now,  where are the mass media and where are the minutes or hours of silence? I know why, Syria is not Paris or Belgium, It is only a  strategic place where nobody lives there. Or perhaps those who live there are not human like of Paris or Belgium? 

With this I don't want to create hate or anything but seeing videos and images of what is happening in this country gives me goosebumps because I see an inequality between humanity I think that everyone has the right to life, to security, to freedom and to enjoy peace.

How important is fidelity in a relationship?

Fidelity is an act of commitment and great maturity, regardless as we are, that is, our character, is not  an excuse to go for  life breaking hearts without thinking or satisfy your desires without thinking of the consequences (in case of men).

But I think when you really fall in love you can not be unfaithful, fidelity is part of love, respect who gives everything for you, when you fall in love you don't  see anyone else, there isn't  other more important person than person that you love him/her. The character to be faithful with the person you love or with other people around you, because noot only must be faithful in love but also in friendship between brothers, in work ...etc, that  It talks  a lot about your personality.

Finally, according to a article that I've read, faithfulness gives us personal identity, internal energy, self-esteem, dignity, honesty,harmony and therefore beauty.

Can love last forever? 

When love is true, there isn't  place in the heart for anyone else, Is beautiful love as well as it was conceived by God, love each other and share everything. But love eternal depends of both  when one of the two betrays trust is lost and love is broken  because distrust is the tomb of love.

I think that It  can last a lifetime if there allegiance and  details that make love grow but this has to be by two, if they share good and  bad moments  among them and if you love the person as he is,  I believe that love doesn't why have to disappear. But there who love hurts the beloved, there's that having received true love don't  know valued it. 

In  the moment when the couple felt loved and thought that his soulmate loved him too and now just feel disappointed and betrayed, she/he never again have confidence with him/her.

Death penalty

  

Personally, I am against death penalty because kill a criminal It makes us like him. Death penalty is not justified by any reason although some laws allow the death penalty  are old ignorant laws with full violation of human rights of those convicted, although they have violated the rights of others that doesn't mean that they don't have rights. 

Human life does not belong to governments or legislative because they do nothing for a new human being born and come into the world. I think, they are first parents, then  school ( education) and lastly  society who they have failed to educate and guide a child and away him  from astray.  

Governments should allocate more resources to education instead of spending large sums of money on things that have nothing to do with our interest. Through good education by parents and school I think they can form and guide the children in a right way because nobody is born with evil.

Women Dalit

In India, religious fundamentalism and tradition discrimination derived from the caste system and  poverty all  are mixed to create a very antagonistic climate towards women, especially women to those belonging to the lower classes.

Dalit women, who they are called them "untouchables" suffer terrible discrimination of  class and gender. These women are  marginalized. What we listened in class that they are prevented from access to health, education, housing  and  the right of freedom. These women when their husbands die they pass to be nothing in society. These women should fight back against caste that based on  discrimination and rape

With all respect to Indian culture, It is true that every country has its own culture  but this caste doesn't make sense. This people don’t undestand that without women her can’t carry out humanity. I think that to advance humanity It must remove some rules of culture that go backward this advance.

War

From my point of view, war is absurd, where a military voluntarily gives up his consciousness to another to be the one to make decisions for him. On the one hand, they go to a place to fight against people who do not know anything for them except propaganda ( political material)  that they have been told about it. A false, misleading propaganda, manipulated  to give reasons why going to risk their life and and the life of other innocent people

On the other hand, is that people who want a war only see one side is the one that suits them, they do not see the opposite side of that is that women, children and elderly die from bombings and attacks in both countries, besides many people were  left homeless and without family. Many people won't  know whether his family is alive or dead, remain homeless children and their families will die in battle or bombing.

Gender violence

Violence is, especially in recent years, a very common phenomenon in our society. To me what worries me most is gender violence,  we are in the 21st century and still remains as a cultural thing in society. The truth, violence against women is a shame  at the height of development that have achieved the humanity. This phenomenon should be of  the past that we have to eliminate it . Both men and women are part of a society and have abilities not the same way but neither is less than another. 

To conclude,  there are many women that suffer from this violence remain silent and this is what gives more strength to men, I understand that they afraid what will happen after But this is what worsens our society.

Is it better to live at home or on campus when you are at university?

Nowadays, many students prefer to live away from home during the university to have more freedom and so live new experiences with friends.

In my opinion, I haven't started university yet, but I think is strongly believe living on campus is much better than home. You will be a huge new experience to live on your own and moreover you  will learn control yourself and become independent. 

However, to live on campus entails much expenses for parents, for that, live on campus or not usually is related with the economy of parents. But, living at home during university does not mean you are going to miss out on everything.

To sum up, live at home or on campus is not important, the most important is these years that you will study you will never forget its.

Hamza, my boyfriend is 25. He has black-large eyes and he has got black hair. He has a lovely figure, well-built and a beautiful pointed nose. He is intelligent and very sociable and the most important of his character that I like is open-minded. He is very attractive when he adresses up to go out with me.

Hamza is studying first cycle of mechanic in Castelló d'Empúries.He studies in the morning and works at night. Before he didn't study because he had problems but now he wants to study to have a good future. He loves football.

My lover is very serious and sincere with people and he always helps the people that need help. I think her only fault is that when he is angry, he becomes another person that I don't know him.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Love at first sight, in my opinion, is illogical, I think it has been confused for a long time the attraction. Love means two different things.  The mutual attraction between two people includes support purely physical way, while for the love, it is essential to know more about the person that you fall in love with his or her. Physical attraction can be given at first sight, but love itself I think  needs more time.


There are different types of love, love for the opposite sex ( love between couples) or brotherly love or family (friends, pets,..etc) who you  are having them love to share certain experiences and moments of your life that  let you love them. The experience is that gives more information  to find the person that you want to share your life with her/his. 

Finally,love at first sight may appear to be something beautiful and romantic but it isn't easy thing to pass   nor  something that happens very often. I think this is a confusion because you don’t does have sufficient knowledge about the person's characteristics in order to fall in love, for that  is nothing more imaginary wishful thinking and not a real emotion. Love grows over time, there’s no question about that. It’s not quite an emotion that can be felt automatically.

Obama Still Arms Governments Using Child Soldiers

This week, President Barack Obama announced that countries that use child soldiers as Congo, Nigeria, Somalia, and South Sudan  will continue to receive United States military assistance.

The decision is disappointing, especially since Obama has a powerful tool at his disposal. In its stead, Obama has invoked national interest waivers that will allow these governments to receive over $161 million in US military aid in the coming year.

In the five years since the Child Soldiers Prevention Act has been in force, the Obama administration has withheld only a fraction of the military aid flowing to governments with child soldiers.This only perpetuates the use and abuse of children in war. 

Finally, I don't know why this people use the children for solve their problems or meet their bad goals, I never will get to understand it.These children forgetting that are poor and the difficults that they live it. Besides that,  the terrorists don't leave them in peace and they take advantage of their situations and use them as if they were only  a weapon.

Human Rights 

Human rights are moral principles or norms, which describe certain standards of human behavior, and are regularly protected as legal rights in municipal and international law. But, It are basically a documents and It  are not considered as laws. It created on 10 December 1945 in New York by the General Assembly of the United Nations . The Declaration was the first international recognition that all human beings have fundamental rights and freedoms and it continues to be a living and relevant document today.

It consists of an introduction and 30 articles that set out a range of fundamental human rights and freedoms to which all men and women, everywhere in the world, are entitled.

Which human right were you not familiar with?

I not familiar with the human right 7 (equality before the law). It consist that all are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. I think this right a lot of people don't have it above all the poor population because if you have money in many cases you can solve many things although  if it  is illegal or outside the law. For this the human rights are only written papers and nothing else.

                  The children who just want to go home

The war in Syria has forced more than half of the population to flee their homes and has created a generation of children with physical and psychological scars.

Thousands of Syrian families are on the move in Europe, trying to escape from unimaginable horrors. But the children almost unanimously just want to go home.

In conclusion, this videos of this news made me cry so much just looking into the little boys eyes made me see how much pain he was in, oh God! Why is there so much injustice and cruelty in this world? I wish  could adopt these children, bring them here where we all live with no worry at all, all we worry about is our bills, jobs, shopping and things that don't really mean much to us. 

No child shouldn't ever experience pain. I wish I had the power to fix everything that is broken with the world or at least eliminate greed, hatred, prejudice, racism, rage, violence, hopelessness, the human need for conflict or simply just human suffering. Well, this may seem simple foolishness that I say, but is it really what I want to do.

Child  Bride Rescued From Wedding in Pakistan

Pakistani police rescued a nine year old girl from being married off to a 14 year old boy to solve  a family dispute and arrested four village elders who had ordered the "compensation wedding".

The intervention in Pakistan's largest province, Punjab, is uncommon in a country where it is often culturally acceptable to use marriage to build and strengthen alliances, settle disputes or pay off debts.

According to UNICEF data, three percent of girls in Pakistan are married before they turn 15 and 21 percent before the age of 18. The parents of child brides are often poor and use marriage as a way to provide for their daughter's future

Finally, I find this very pitiful. A lot of these girls are younger than me and I just can't imagine what they feel when they marry with a man of age their father. 

Developing countries don't  hold problems like these. i think economy and poverty is not an excuse to marry your daughter of underage, still has not yet experienced the fun of adolescence is just a little girl.

            Zika vaccine 'within months'

A zika vaccine could be ready for human trials later this year.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases say will start  testing DNA vaccine by September. Scientists of Institute helped develop a vaccine for Ebola. Now they are trying do the same for Zika, with special focus on pregnant women because of the strongly suspected link between the virus and babies being born with underdeveloped brains.

Dr Fauci said the American vaccine will focus on pregnant women, and women of childbearing age, with a long term goal of offering a vaccine to everyone, particularly if that link to microcephaly is confirmed. He said the world had been in a similar situation in the early 1960, when rubella was causing.

Finally, they are banning women become pregnant, but my question is what will they do to fight the virus? eliminate the virus completely within a year or two and in that time we will be able to have children? I think  after Zika virus possibly will come another virus worse than we have now.

            Earthquake  in south Spain

An earthquake weighing 6.3 on the Richter scale was registered on Monday morning off the southeast coast of the Spain.

The tremors were left across Andalusia, in cities such as Malága, Granada, Sevilla and Jaén, as well in the Spanish North African (Melilla) and the cities of Morocco around Melilla as Nador and Alhucemas.

The north African city was the worst affected by this. In the Moroccan city of Alhucemas a 12 year-old boy  died of a heart attack in the early hours of the earthquake

The truth is that this is beginning to worry me much what is happening, I thought this only happened in the eastern countries like Japan, Philippines..etc. But now it is here, at the moment is about 6.3 g and reoccurs another I don't know how much will be.

Ttravel far of here  

Travel, oh! Who doesn't want to visit every corner of the planet? It seems me so unfair not have enough time or money  in life to see everything ! Or at least to see everything that interests us. I've always thought  to  do a couple of those trips that  change you  completely. A great trip. 

If I achieve this dream, I will like when I travel it is to move from the more touristy and focus on the people who live there in their customs and their culture.  In short, enjoy the experience as if it were an inhabitant of the area.

I would like to lose myself completely walk, walk and walk until I get tired. One of the countries I would like to visit are: Greek islands (white houses remind me of one of my favorite cities in Morocco Chefchaouenç) and New Zealand by its nature.

                                          Forgive 

I think we've all ever wondered if the person who has hurt us, intentionally or not, deserves our forgiveness. It affects, especially when they come from people close to us as family, friends or partner, with which the existence or not of forgiveness can harm the quality of these relations. 

It is true that forgiveness favors a reconciliation to occur but this is not strictly necessary, in fact we can be in a relationship where there is no forgiveness and simply have "forgotten" a painful fact or forgive someone who no longer have any contact with he. 

For me the act of forgiveness itself is rather a process you not knows when nor where It occurs as time passes.

Some say love hurts, but I think it's not true, well on the one hand yes  but on the other not. First, loneliness hurts, rejection hurts, ruse hurts, it hurts to lose someone also love is one of these problems if it does not lead well also hurts as anything of  life.

I think that  love does not hurt are the people who make you suffer. On the other hand, love is nice while it lasts, and I think that can only happen once in your life a true love, it may eventually end up in love with another person  but won't be as the first love.

I conclude that love is one of the most beautiful things we have in life, make pain or not but it is and always it will be.

My best friend

The life presents us with thousands of people and each comes to play a role in our vida. All them remain in our memory, in our habits, in our photos ...etc. But today I want to dedicate to my friend (fatima) with whom I am all hours, giving me advice at all times, who I tell absolutely everything and who I feel understood. I not ashamed to say he loves me and me to her, we pass good and bad times.

Who hugged me silently and heard me mourn, that does everything for me and often does so without receiving anything in return, listening to me when I have a problem or just when there is something important that has happened to me and spend hours talking to find out about one solution.
That is a good company even when the plan is to do nothing. She is definitely my best friend and my best sister (although it isn't biologically).

The  family is what makes it all worthwhile, every effort, every waiver and every step I take in my life. They are better or worse, I have been treated better or bad this doesn't matter.

My family is my family, we didn't choose it, is it who has chosen us. For this we must do everythin

g possible to return all them these values that they teach us.

They will always be there in good times and bad. With them I can find respect and sincere affection. They are the basis on which I have get out of bed and have taught me to fight for my goals and to move forward and strive to be better every day.

The Divorce 

The divorce may seem one of the solutions to couples who have problems among them  to end headache that there among them. Personally, I can understand them but  before taking this decision they must take  into account what will  feel their children due to their separation.

The separation is considered a stressful occurrence for the couple and is a painful emotional impact that affects both children and the family. So take this decision is a step that usually takes a long time especially if there are children in between. I think this they know only those who have lived it. I am one of those people who have lived, my parents had many problems between them and separated when I was three years old. The truth I still remember those days were very difficult for me.

Finally, It is important to explain the childrens from the beginning this decision and try to clarify things very well without harm them not transmit them false expectations. 

SELF-EVALUATION

I think my presentation It wasn't  bad, I used  prezi that supported my oral explanation, but I didn't focused most on the topic ( pedagogy). However It wasn't timing five minutes.

About my body language I wasn't look at the audience most of time because when I present individual I get very  nervous and I forget all. Actually alone or with other person I become nervous, I have to result this problem because I not win  nothing only I lose points. These nerves not let me look at audience and this is why  I was read most of time from my notes. I think that I didn't hold the attention of my audience.

For the structure, I think It wasn't  bad, I introduced the topic ( pedagogy that I will do in my future). I organized my ideas in order, I talk about definition of pedagogy, classes and the jobs opportunities. But I didn't delve a lot into topic. 

About content and language as I said I didn't introduce new information to the audience and I didn't give or show examples to support my presentation. I wasn't use most vocabulary as synonyms, idioms, connectors or phrasal verbs.My pronunciation was a bit slack I didn't speak loudly.

Finally, I think this presentation was the worst, I don't know why maybe because I didn't prepare well since it we had philosophy exam. Well, these points that I lost I will  recover its on  skills exams, grammar and doing more tasks in the blogger.

ABSTRACT

I don't explain my research project because I did it last year. My project was entitled Adolescence regarding Culture that consisted to compare the adolescence of Spain and the adolescence of Morocco. For this reason I explain what I will do after Second Batxillerat.

At that time I have thought to do pedagogy but although I don't have clear yet, because I don't know if I can access on It,  because now they raise the mark. But if I can't access I will do Innovation and food safety since this sector has many success and is interesting too.

Pedagogy is the discipline that deals with the theory and practice of education; therefore concerns the study and practice of how best to teach. However, Innovation and Food Safety is the degree that contributes to the availability of healthy and  safe foodstuff and also know the various tools of control and quality assurance of food. Ultimately this sector is the most requested today an important sector for economic and industrial progress.

Social Media Convergence Vide

In recent years, social networks have developed quickly. It might be a good or bad way but now a lot of people around the world are addicting to Internet as if Internet is one of their basic necessity.For example before people normally read a newspaper in the loo, bed..etc, but nowadays I think nobody does it, because all are digitized, only one click and you can access all and what are happening around the World.

Can the Internet make the world a better place?

In the recent years, as all of us know the world is developing faster on account of scientific renovation. Now all is reflected into technology. 

On the one hand, technology is, in some aspects, disgusting. First of all, half of the information we can find on the Internet is totally false, as everyone can publish anything. But, what worries  is the excessive use of technology as if it were one of our basic needs. Secondly as a problem that we could talk about these technological improvements that had influenced the industry is the creation of robots,  this involve a lot of   unemployment.

On the other hand, with technology has arrived the Internet; so thousands of people can access to a lot of information, even not all the information is reliable and this was unbelievable.

In conclusion, technology has made the world a better place,however, we can become addicts in it.
