Nip, tuck, click: Demand for US plastic surgery rises in selfie.

Plastic surgery  in United States have seen a surge in demand for procedures ranging from eye-lid lifts to rhinoplasty, popularly known as a nose job, from patients seeking to improve their image in selfies and on social media.

A survey carry out  by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) of 2,700 of its members showed that one in three had seen an increase in requests for procedures due to patients being more aware of their image in social media. 

In conclusion, nowadays people have become crazy with their appearance, but this  it has its origin in the advancement of technology. It have dominated people in a suspicious manner, you see people doing crazy things as surgery only to stay well.

Technology today

I think that the growth of technology has negatively influenced life of my generation because it isolates us from reality and hinders

communication between us. The mobiles are one example; by putting in your earbuds and immersing yourself in music and be hour and hour connected talking with people perhaps you don't know them.

Nowadays generation with substandard social abilities is being groomed. If we do not have to face reality by experiencing new things, making personal relationships, and problem solving. This should change yet, because perhaps over time the technology will dominate us all,this does not mean that now not dominates us.

Soul Mates

Lately, we've read articles regarding soul mates, and I couldn't help but note how a soul mate may often be conceptualized as an individual’s “other half to their whole,”

Many times we was in love with a person and always think that she/he is the person who is the women/man of our dream and he/she compliments your life. And was  our side always in good and in bad. But really this person is or will be our soul mate?  or only we believe this,  to continue forward with our couple. 

I think soulmate not exist the entire , because there is no person who has the same thoughts or tastes as you. The truth is that there is love, that is, the feeling of love for a person,  who love you whatever if you are not setting your soul mate or not.

Some people use plastic surgery as a excuse to change themselves because they have a mind set of this perfect image of beauty. I think it's okay if you have been in a accident and do need plastic surgery. No matter if you have ugly nose does not mean that your whole body are ugly. That  give people a bad perspective of beauty. 


Plastic surgery is so nasty! if you really want to hurt your body that bad then go kill yourself. it's so nasty. why try to change who you are so people will like you.

I think it all depends. The only time I think it is really necessary to get plastic surgery is if someone was in a bad accident or something and became completely deformed. That is understandable. But most people do it for the wrong reasons.

CHEMISTRY(THE SECRET SCIENCE OF ATTRACTION)

REPORT NOA'S TALK

The other day we talked (with video) with Noa , a former student of  Center, that  did  a gap year in  Australia. We prepared  in groups  questions to ask him about their gap  year and if it has been a good idea do it.. etc.

I would like do as Noa is  away for a little time away from home your house, away from the people around you and meet different people of you , I think there is no better experience than this.

Personally, I  think that this experience for me and for others would be great for us to relax a bit and away from depression and stress of exams .Moreover, this experience will do us to assess the people around us, because the sorely missed.

SELF-EVALUATION

Presentation (10%):  I think in my opinion my mark is 5 % because the presentation have a good presentation with percentatge, graphic..etc.

Body language & eye contact(10%):  I think that my mark is 5% because I don't do a lot of gestures and movement around the class. 

Structure(10%): The structure my  presentation I think that my  mark is 4,5%.

Content (40%): The continent I think that the mark is  35 %.

Language(20%): Respect to my language, I think that my mark is 10% because during the presentation I forgot some words.

Pronunciation & Intonation(10%): My pronunciation is not perfect and with all the nervous the pronunciation are converted to a bat pronunciation and I read more.  My mark is 5.5%

MY PROJECT

The research project "adolescence according to culture" focuses on the thoughts and the values of adolescence, the changes from one culture to another. I compare Spain and Morocco adolescence. The mainly objectives are: Knowing the importance of religion for teens Moroccan and Spanish, and compare which of the two has more weight, know the problems that suffer teens and compare who has more relationship and good comunication with their parents. 


The research consists of two parts: theory and practice. In the theory I difined adolescence, its stages,  the general and specific changes of them. And the psychological changes that occur at this stage. Finally I explained the values.


In the practice part I spent a survey a sample of 20 teens betwen 16-19 years old, where  I comprare study, relationship with their parents, sexuality and relationships, values, religion and the problems that suffer adolescence of Morocco and Spain.
